Become a Product Builder in seven days of actual work.
One skill a day from the Product Builder Standard. Five minutes to read, one task to do before tomorrow. By day 7 you have a working prototype in front of a customer, an outcome sentence, an eval, a launch post, and the unit economics of your feature.

The short version
The 7-Day Product Builder Course is a free email course by Falk Gottlob that teaches the six skills of the Product Builder Standard: Rapid Prototyping, Customer Proximity, AI Fluency, Outcomes Thinking, Storytelling and Distribution, and End-to-End Ownership. Each day is one short lesson and one concrete task. All seven lessons are also published here, so you can read ahead or skip the email entirely.
The seven days
Take the Builder level quiz first →- 1Rapid PrototypingBuild it before you describe itThe one skill that separates a Product Builder from a Product Manager.
- 2Customer ProximityFour hours a week, on the calendarWhen building gets cheap, insight is the only edge left.
- 3AI FluencyDecide and defendEnough AI architecture to make the scope, cost, and feasibility call.
- 4Outcomes ThinkingThe eval is the specOutputs are tickets shipped. Outcomes are customer behavior that changed.
- 5Storytelling & DistributionWrite the launch post firstIf nobody can find it, you didn't ship it. You built it.
- 6End-to-End OwnershipOwn the margin tooInsight to prototype to launch to gross margin to the outcome after the signature.
- 7All sixDraw the whole arcSix skills in one head, and one page that holds you to it.

What is the 7-day Product Builder course?+
A free email course that teaches the six skills of the Product Builder Standard, one a day, with one concrete thing to do each day. Day 7 puts them together into a single full-arc map of your product. Every lesson is also published on falkster.com.
How long does each lesson take?+
About five minutes to read. The task for the day is the real work, and it is sized to fit around a normal job: block calendar time, write one sentence, build one prototype, do one piece of math.
Do I have to sign up to read it?+
No. All seven lessons are on the site. Signing up just delivers one a day, which is the pacing most people need to actually do the tasks.
Who is it for?+
Product managers moving toward the Product Builder role, and the product leaders who want their teams to. If you scored Level 1 or 2 on the Builder level quiz, start here.
What happens after day 7?+
Nothing automatic. You stay on the monthly Dispatch unless you unsubscribe. Each lesson links to the handbook chapter and the template that go deeper on its skill.
